Dear Dino T. and Dino D.,
After yet another wonderful dinner at Flamingo recently I felt the need to sit down and write you two a thank you letter.
Thank you for opening Cagney's Old Place in 1976 and Flamingo Grill in 1985, because when you did you created not only two superb restaurants but also you created countless memories that Al and I shall cherish for the duration.
Al and I have spent every special occasion and "no need for a special occasion" at either one or the other restaurant since they opened. And each time we have taken pleasure in the most delightful and well-prepared food that anyone's palate would crave. If that isn't enough, the staffs at both restaurants have always gone out of their way to be courteous and accommodating. We consider many of the employees as friends because we have known them so long for the fact that they have stayed with you through all these many years.
All and I are ever indebted to you both for providing us with great memories to carry with us into the years ahead and for future memories that we have yet to experience."
P.S.
Dino T., we love your book Greek Boy and want to know when the movie will be out...

Cagney's and Flamingo Grill are favorites to recommend for great dining. Every layer of hospitality...decor, detail, greeting and cleanliness. Your waitstaff is efficient and warm and food quality is always consistent. Thank you for making my job as concierge easier.

To the Flamingo Grill I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoy and appreciate the Flamingo Grill. Of course the food is the greatest, but the service there can't be beat. It is rare to find that level of professionalism locally. It means so much to be able to enjoy a meal with friends visiting from out of town. It's always a special treat to take them there!

I have not been to your restaurant in years, but I still send people to your doors! Any time I hear of somebody making a trip to the Myrtle Beach area, I tell them to go to Flamingo's! Hands down, my favorite restaurant in that area (lived there in '95). The deep fried lobster chunks are just to die for! Care to share the recipe?

We found your restaurant one day while vacationing in Myrtle Beach about 3 years ago. Now, we vacation there every year and every year we come back the the Flamingo..Your food and everything about your restaurant is amazing..Our favorite is the Lemon Pepper Shrimp, we can't get enough. We have even tried to duplicate the shrimp--no luck, yours is the best, hands down..I always tell my friends and family that they have to eat there...Thanks

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in MB several years ago and had dinner at your wonderful restaurant.
We have never forgot the great food. Your chef made our lobster tails and filets so delicious that my wife and I were making noises while we were eating. I know the people in the booth next to us thought we were having sex because of all the oooo's and aaaaaaaa's.
We have told a million people about your restaurant and will continue to do so. Hopefully this October we will be in MB for our anniversary again. This will be our 28th. If we do make it and you hear noises coming from a booth that may be x rated you will know we made it.
Thanks for the memory.

I brought a group of 27 customers in Monday night from a convention we were attending. Everyone had been in Myrtle Beach for a couple of days so had a chance to check out a few of the other local establishments. Everone raved about the food and service at the Flamingo Grill. Not sure when we'll be back but I can promise the Flamingo Grill will be our first choice. Thanks for a great evening, great food and great service.

We have been bringing a group of 25-30 to MB on a golf/ shopping trip for many years. Our tradition is to go to Flamingo Grill on the first night. We can always count on great service and fabulous food year after year. Keep it up!

I have Horry County ties,my Uncle Guy was manager of the Ponderosa Campground years
ago. Whenever we are in M.B. we plan at least one meal at Flamingo's. The food is excellent, and the service has always been top notch. Keep up the good work and our group (8) will see you in July when we come down. Bil Hammond

My wife and I have been going to Myrtle Beach for the last 5 years. Our first time there we were cruising around, looking the place over, and saw your restaurant.
It looked so cool we had to come back for dinner. What a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely fantastic and the wait staff obviously enjoyed their work. There wasn't anything negative to say and in the ensuing 5 years, we've come back over and over.
Everyone we brought with us loves the place. I know if my wife came down here on vacation and didn't get your lobster bites at least once, I'd be in the doghouse big time!

Wow, Wow, Wow... we have been coming to Myrtle Beach for about 5 years. This past year was our first time to your establishment. One of the Locals said we would love it... wow she was right. The building is fun, but the food is amazing. The Lemon Pepper Grouper was out of this world. We will never go to another buffet. The food is so much better at the Flamingo no reason to go any place else. See you next year!

In 3 years of visiting Myrtle Beach I wanted to compliment your restaurant as being the best meal with the best service (Stormii was our server) I have had yet. Thank you. I plan to recommend your restaurant to all my friends and will return.

My husband, Eddie, and I look forward to eating at Flamingo's every year that we visit Myrtle Beach. Last year for Christmas I gave him a gift certificate to eat here and we could not wait to use it! We are returning to the coast this weekend for our 16th wedding anniversary and I can assure you, our first night of dinning out will be at Flamingo's. The food is out of this world! Thanks for being such a special place See you soon!

Dino T, you know I have been touting the Flamingo Grill to tourists for years and wanted to add my 2 cents here also. In this writers opinion, there is no better restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The food is always the same, SUPER, and you and Dino D. have gone out of your way to always have the greatest staff on the Beach. No one can touch the prime rib, NY strips that will melt in your mouth, Pasta Flamingo that you can`t stop eating. I could go on and on. We Love ya Bud(and a big Hi to Miss Angie).

My family and I have been going to Myrtle Beach for 5 years now. On a recent trip we drove down route 17 looking for something local and fun we decided on the Flamingo Grill and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and we had an excellent waiter, Scott, who was upbeat and fun. We all left with smiles on our face, but I left without my hat on. I talked to Mike that night on the phone and he agreed to meet me the next day (Sunday), even though the Grill was closed because I had to fly out. If you care about customer service and want to feel like you are the only people that matter in the restaurant I recommend the Flamingo Grill.

For may years (over 30) Su's parents Don and Joyce Lawson visited Myrtle Beach and Surfside. We often visited and until recently, owned a condo at Surfside. Su's parents spent many a night dinning at Cagney's or the Flamingo Grill. We held their 50th Anniversary party at the Flamingo Grill, and have many fine memories of the fine food and comeradery enjoyed at both locations. We especially miss seeing many of the staff we came to know during our visits, as well as the conversations with both Dinos. You could be away for an extended period of time, walk through the door be instantly recognized, called by name and know you were in the right place. In all our travels through the world, no two finer restaurants exist nor do two finer restaurateurs than the Dinos.
Thank you for many fine memories.

Nothing can compare to the food and service at the Flamingo Grill. Always greeted with a friendly smile and hello - a big plus in our book. We love the Lobster Bites and always get them when we dine here. Other eating establishments should take a look at how enjoyable a night of fine dining can be!
